About Us

Modern day women with ordinary lives, seeking Christ around the every day struggles. Women in different stages of life. Women from different denominations. Women who come from various backgrounds and with differing testimonies. Yet, together they have a commonality that is undeniable- A love for Christ and a love for people.

Our mission of faith is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin named Mary, He lived a perfect life, He died a painful death and served as our perfect sacrifice for the remission of our sins. Three days later He rose from the grave and ascended to heaven. One day He is coming again for His people. That is the basis of everything we do at TRF ministries. That is the gospel of Christ.

The Round Farmhouse Writing Team

Erika Bailey– The founder of The Round Farmhouse Ministries. She and Travis live at the round farmhouse with their four children. Erika loves to dig into God’s Word and make texts centuries old applicable today. Through her writings, she hopes to teach you more about God’s Word, make you laugh, and possibly shed a tear or two (happy tears of course). She prays that what she writes is relatable, encouraging, and brings you closer to the Lord as a result.

Devin Miller– She is the wife to John, mother to Lauren, and bonus mom to Dustin. A little over two years ago, Devin fully came to know Christ. Since that transformation, she has had a hunger for the Word of God and a desire to grow in Him unlike many. As a single mom, raising her daughter alone into adulthood, Devin has a grit that is undeniable. Her past experiences, grit, tenacity, and love for her Savior are what we hope you find in everything Devin writes about. She hopes to relate to others who maybe feel as though they are somewhat of an outsider. She prays that through her writings, she is able to reach people to bring them to Christ or closer to Him in their current walk.

Brandy Dickens– Brandy is married to her high school sweetheart, Derek. She’s mama to 2 beautiful children, Charlotte (Charlie) and Ari, but her journey to motherhood hasn’t been an easy one. Pregnancy loss, pre-term labor and the daily struggles with motherhood – Brandy’s writings encompass all of them. Even when life’s roads are hard and bumpy, God can be the path that instills the peace. You will be inspired by Brandy’s faith in the midst of life’s hardships and her ability to find something positive in every situation. She prays that the writings she shares will help you feel a kinship to her, as well as a hunger for God’s Word.

Kim Murphy– Kim is the wife to Jim, mother to Alexis and mother-in-law to Pat. Here at The Round Farmhouse Ministries, Kim is our quiet and reserved one. While she will never be considered outspoken, no one can deny her ability to listen and her attention to detail. These are real gifts that every writing team needs. Kim grew up attending church and came to know the Lord as her Savior at a young age. She is still learning to see God’s faithfulness in her life. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, or self-doubt, you will indeed relate to Kim. She prays that her personal experiences and writings lead you closer to the Lord and to the peace that can only be found in Him.

Jennifer Turner – She is married to Jared and the mother to Addi, Brogan, and Gideon. One of Jennifer’s greatest passions is speaking and writing about the goodness of God, His abundant grace and His redemptive love. Her life and testimony are a beautiful reflection of these words of Christ: “Blessed are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those that mourn, for they will be comforted.” From struggles with childhood poverty, to the pain of pregnancy loss, to her battle with an eating disorder, she writes from her heart’s perspective in these places – while glorifying God for His protection, provisions and faithfulness along the way.
